Hello, We are MALNUS
We are a Prague-based hardware and software startup backed by ESA BIC and CzechInvest. Founded in June 2025 out of the Czech Rocket Society and the Czech Technical University in Prague, we're now a team of more than 10 engineers building secure, offline-first mesh communication and localisation systems.
We tackle localisation where GNSS fails; helping firefighters inside buildings, connecting robots on distant planets, and building networks that don't rely on existing infrastructure. Lukáš studied Cybernetics and Robotics at CTU FEE and spent four years on student rocket development; Filip graduated from the University of the West of England, worked at ESA ECSAT, and built robotics systems at Ocado. Together with teammates from CTU and Charles University, we're turning our passion for engineering into reliable mission-ready tech.
Our Vision
To make sure no coordinator is left behind during operations, we are building an infrastructure-independent communication and localisation system. Our advanced mesh technology provides connectivity in challenging environments, helping teams operate with confidence and efficiency.
We envision a future where secure, offline communication and precise localisation are accessible to all, regardless of terrain or infrastructure limitations. Proudly developed and manufactured in the EU. Independent supply chains for maximum reliability.
What sets us apart is accuracy and scalability. We aim for the best accuracy on the market with a novel approach that no other company is using today. Our hardware is designed for mass production, and instead of expensive high-end components, our goal is to use affordable and reliable off-the-shelf sensors.
